The Port of Norrköping

The Port of Norrköping is situated in the middle of Sweden's east coast approx. 170 km south of Stockholm.

The port is owned by the municipality of Norrköping and operated by Norrköping Port and Stevedoring Company.

Norrköping is one of the largest ports in Sweden, handling petrochemicals and exports of high technology transformers as well as bulk energy, production raw materials and grain.

The port is capable of accommodating vessels with a draft of up to 11.4 m.

Recently, the port expanded the container terminal and has since increased its focus on this in competition with the larger west coast based container ports.

The port is divided into different harbour areas, and the port is accessible 24 hrs a day all year round.
