The Port of Brofjorden

Preem AB's refinery "Preemraff Lysekil" and terminal is located on the west coast of Sweden near Lysekil in Brofjorden. It is today Scandinavia's largest refinery and one of Europe's most modern with a refining capacity of 11.4 million tonnes per year.

The port has one crude oil jetty (up to 500,000dwt) and five jetties for products (up to about 80,000dwt). Main products produced by the refinery are: gasoline, diesel, normal and low sulphur hfo as well as butane, propane, propylene, naphtha, vacuum gas oil.

Terminal is accessible 24 hrs a day all year around and it's fairway is excellent, almost a straight line and not more than about 12 nm with no tidal or daylight restrictions. Fairway depth into the crude jetty is 28 m.
