The Port of Klaipeda

Klaipeda State Seaport is the most important and biggest Lithuanian transport hub, connecting sea, land and railway routes from East to West.

It is the northern most ice-free port on the Eastern coast of the Baltic Sea.

Klaipeda is a multipurpose deep-water port with ship repair and ship building yards operating within the port as well as.

The annual port cargo handling capacity is up to 40 million tons consisting of oil, fertilizers, roro, containers, bulk, general cargoes and passenger/cruise vessels, and port can accommodate vessels up to 13.0 m draft.

The port is accessible 24 hrs a day all year round.

The Port of Riga

Freeport of Riga in Latvia is situated on both banks of the River Daugava covering 15 kilometres in length. Riga is the capital of Latvia.

The port handles approx. 45 million tons cargo per annum consisting of containers, various metals, timber, coal, mineral fertilizers, chemical cargoes, oil, food products and passengers/cruise.

In 2009 the port handled abt. 4,000 vessels with max dimensions of 255 m LOA and 14.5 m draft.

The port is open for navigation all year round.

The Port of Ventspils

Freeport The port of Ventspils is the largest import and export port of Latvia and is ice-free all year around.

It is a municipal owned port and from its terminals is handled cargo like Oil, fertlizers, coal, grain, general cargoes (timber), containers and roro.
